more wonders in heaven and earth

I bet I’m not the only writer who loves research. There are more fascinating things in heaven and earth than we can ever dream of. One of the things I experienced with new depth during my research for Once Again was the astonishing nature of our place in the universe. In examining loop quantum gravity, I was awestruck by the beauty of ideas about things smaller than my mind could grasp set against the unfathomably vast distances of space. Here we are, all of us, on this nanoscopic particle of dust in an infinite sea of the energy of existence. And it wasn’t insignificance that swept over me but the monumental importance of the parts we play during our time on this stage. Certainly, we are the only ones of our kind in the heliosphere and most likely in all of infinite space and time. And so it’s up to us to create our role in the chronicle of reality. I was reminded that some imprint of our decisions makes up the ongoing history of existence and is recorded for all time by the pen of quantum entanglement. It is extraordinary to think of, isn’t it?

Let me know what you think.
